Folkestone Art Society is launching an exciting new membership for young people.
The first step to kick-off this initiative is a competition to design a new logo that will be used for the Young Person’s Membership (Folkestone Art Society Young People) to distinguish it from the main Folkestone Art Society membership. The Society would like you to design the logo for us.
The competition will be open to three groups of student’s:
1. Students studying art GCSE
2. Students studying art A Level
3. Students who have studied GSCE art but have not taken it to the next level and are still in education.
Let your imagination go! The only rule is that must keep to the colour palette of the Society’s existing logo, which is on this form.

Entries will be shortlisted. The shortlisted entries will be converted to a vector file using Adobe Illustrator. Initial entries do not have to be submitted in vector file format but please bear in mind that simplicity of design will allow for easier conversion to a vector file and scalability.
There will be a trophy for the winner to keep, along with cash prizes for the winner and runner up.
The first 20 entrants will become founding members of Folkestone Art Society’s Young People category.
