We warmly welcome Hashim back to demonstrate his unique techniques and approaches to working up a painting using broad flat brushes and acrylics. The theme will be focussing on a coastal scene. This will be a demonstration but attendees are welcome to take notes and sketches if they wish.

Biography

Working as an illustrator for over 15 years, Hashim’s client list varied from broadsheet newspapers, magazines and design agencies. He became more interested in developing his own paintings and started exhibiting, demonstrating and running workshops. He is now a represented artist and has won numerous awards. He is the author of ‘Vibrant Acrylics’, ‘Painting Urban and Cityscapes’, Dorling Kindersley Artist’s Painting Techniques’, ‘Painting Portraits in Acrylic’ with a new acrylic book coming in 2024. He has two paintings in the national collection and is also a regular contributor to The Artist and Illustrators magazine.
