Artist Biography:
Nikki is an experienced local artist who works mainly in collage and mixed media. She enjoys using different methods and tools to explore the boundaries of different media Nikki says ‘For me art is a never-ending journey of excitement, exploration and discovery and I am a strong believer that art should be fun! I am always learning, which all part of art journey.
I work in collage/mixed media, watercolours, acrylics and pen & wash – and enjoy working in all – I have no favourites. I love teaching watercolours and acrylics and holding collage workshops.
My by-line is ‘affordable, original art’.
I think these words of Degas sums me up: A painter once said that he had at last found his style. Degas commented, ‘Well, I’m glad I haven’t found mine yet……. I’d be bored to death’!
