This session will be lead by Christopher Bone who is a local artist, lecturer and tutor of fine art. Artist biography is included below (scroll down).

The session will use a live model and will introduce techniques using charcoal and sanguine pencils.

Open to: Everyone! No experience required. The session will be of particular interest to those wanting to try or extend with charcoal.

Where and when: 17 February 2024, 13:00 to 16:00 at Baptist Church, 135 Hill Road, Folkestone CT19 6LY. Free parking is available.

What to bring: Charcoals and/or sanguine pencils and suitable paper.

Biography

Christopher studied Art at the Hertfordshire college of Art and Design, followed by Canterbury College for a BA and then at Canterbury Christchurch College gaining a MA in Fine Art. He is a full time artist painting and exhibiting his work which is inspired from the English Landscape tradition. He has a reputation for delivering high standard classes in adult education to all levels of ability.
